Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nutrition Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience in managing and overseeing nutrition services in a healthcare, hospitality, or food service setting.
Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Manager (CNM)
•  Supervises the assembly of meals to ensure that all residents receive foods they prefer and that are acceptable per their physicians’ orders.
•  Manages the diet aide staff to maintain daily operations. Recommends and may approve appropriate personnel transitions, including promotion/demotion/discipline/discharge of individuals under immediate supervision.
•  Assesses residents’ nutritional status needs to develop a personalized plan of care and completes required resident care documentation.
• Develops selective dinner menu and daily food production records to inform residents/food production staff as to the types and quantities of foods to prepare.
•  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and services
• Maintains accurate resident care documentation records to keep all staff aware of nutrition/food needs.
• Hires, trains, and schedules diet aide staff to keep adequate staff levels
• Counsels staff and completes timely performance evaluations to share feedback on their job performance with staff.
• Monitors residents’ acceptance of meals to evaluate plan of care and make changes as indicated.
• Provides consultation to the community's Executive Director, Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Directorof Culinary Services.
• Provides written dated reports and meal inspection findings for review by the Director of Culinary Services
• and the Administrator.
• Provides nutrition and diet consultation to independent residents upon physician, self-request, or DRN.
• Assists management in related duties including budget planning, physical plant changes, and culinary sanitation audits.
• Assists the Director of Culinary Services with wellness initiatives.
• Assists RD as needed with Clinical
• Performs other duties as assigned.
