Lionsgate is Hiring a Sr. Manager, WWTV Marketing Near Santa Monica, CA

Summary of Position
This position will work closely with the SVP, Worldwide Television Marketing and Events, supporting the International Sales team, our international network and distribution partners, as well as support all key marketing and sales initiatives across the full spectrum of Lionsgate's motion pictures and theatrical acquisitions. The role will also work very closely with the Creative division within the Worldwide TV Marketing group, as well as the TV Distribution Team. This role requires a talented multi-faceted marketing professional who is a self-starter, a team player, is highly organized, and displays tremendous communication, multi-tasking, written and relationship building skills. The individual must thrive in a fast moving and changing environment, have an entrepreneurial spirit, an understanding of sales needs and B2B marketing requirements, and have a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities
  • Roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty every day (this is first on the list for a reason!)
  • Ideate, research, draft and seek approvals of marketing assets including sell-sheets, presentation decks, client e-blasts, newsletters
  • Act as day-to-day contact point for International Sales Team, including gathering requests for marketing and sales materials, and sharing critical information on content and assets
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Marketing and Events in creating and maintaining marketing and sales reports including marketing materials broadcast air dates, ratings, and pertinent sales information
  • Project management all international marketing collateral requests, tracking and updating a comprehensive and ever growing log of requests to meet deadlines
  • Project management of trade ads, including negotiation, approvals, and tracking to meet submission deadlines
  • Liaise between sales and our creative team to make sure assets are created to detailed specifications and delivered on time
  • Brainstorm/ideate B2B initiatives: creative briefs, asset gathering, review and update existing materials
  • Execute data and analysis, create ratings and marketing presentations, and present findings to all levels of the organization
  • Build solid relationships and communication lines with internal Lionsgate divisions including our TV Development, Business & Legal Affairs, Motion Picture, PR, Creative, and Events teams
  • Develop meaningful relationships with all external network and digital distribution partners to influence, communicate and support all marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Maintain essential and regular reports, summaries, grids and other documentation to track key business components
  • Daily prioritization of numerous requests, projects, and requests
Qualifications and Skills
  • This position requires an extremely capable entertainment and sales savvy individual with a proven track-record of success in marketing and project management. The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, is self-motivated AND a self-starter, creative, tactful, a team player, detail orientated and possesses strong organizational, written and communication skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry experience working as part of a television content distribution team
  • A deep understanding of TV marketing, TV sales process, competitive landscape and digital media is required
  • Strong writing skills, with a clear understanding of B-2-B marketing requirements; A creative and strategic thinker
  • Established working relationship with clients and vendors in the TV marketplace
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, and works well in a team environment
  • A hands-on entrepreneurial approach to business by taking initiatives to strategize and prepare for unforeseen situations
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities with obsessive attention to detail and to interact with diverse groups
  • Identify, analyze and solve challenges in cross-functional areas, especially sales and marketing, contractual/legal and technology
  • Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Photoshop/creative design skills a plus.
