Job Summary

The Engineer / Senior Engineer works within the Manufacturing Sciences function to support and improve internal production processes.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and enhance critical production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge processes and equipment to drive advancements in next-generation products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement innovative solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
• Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to work hands-on with equipment and processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively through both verbal and written channels to stakeholders at all levels.
• Employ statistical analysis techniques to evaluate manufacturing data and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for designing and modeling new equipment and processes.
• Leverage knowledge and/or experience in computer programming fundamentals to enhance automation and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
• Operate within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelors degree in applicable scientific or engineering discipline, advanced degrees preferred (Chemistry/chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science/engineering, etc.)
• 5 years minimum experience in applicable field (such as pharmaceutical, process, controls, and/or chemical engineering).
• Must be a highly motivated, self-starting, adaptable team-player
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work with equipment and processes hands-on.
• Excellent technical communication skills required (verbal and written).
• Strong technical problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in statistical analysis preferred.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience in the fundamentals of computer programming preferred.
• Experience operating in a regulated environment preferred.
