Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Greet customers and assist them with their service needs - Write accurate and detailed service orders, including vehicle information, requested services, and customer concerns - Communicate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Provide estimates for services and obtain customer approval - Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts - Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed - Maintain accurate records of all service transactions - Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner Qualifications: - Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred - Knowledge of tire service, automotive sales, vehicle maintenance, air brake systems, auto service management, automotive repair, service technician duties, automotive diagnostics, and diesel engine repair is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient computer skills We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
