Little League International is looking to hire a full-time in-person Retail Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to join our Retail team in our South Williamsport, PA location.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE RETAIL INVENTORY & WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL

As a Retail Inventory & Warehouse Specialist , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory and warehouse operations, to include receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods to the sales floor and E-commerce sales, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.

You will organize all stockroom / warehouse spaces, control inventory, monitor stock levels, implement inventory tracking systems, and conduct regular inventory audits.

A positive attitude, team mentality and willingness to learn new things are key in this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of retail experience, OR a bachelor’s degree in supply chain and Inventory Management, or Logistics, with 1-3 years of retail experience
• One to three (1-3) years of warehouse and inventory management experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in-person
• Proficiency in MS / Office, (POS) Point of Sale, and other computer skills relevant to inventory management
• Knowledge of retail math and ability to calculate discounts, percentages, fractions, with calculator
• Basic understanding of inventory accounting
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and management
• Comfortable with technology and ability to learn inventory and shipping software
• Ability to evaluate shipping costs and make recommendations for improvements / efficiencies
• Excellent organization skills
• Must be able to process, prioritize and complete large work volumes and correctly meet deadlines.
• Technical ability to perform inventory process and maintain daily stock levels
• Acute attention to detail
• Must be able to apply critical thinking to daily tasks
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude, team mentality and willingness to learn new things
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulatory standards
• Knowledge of category management principles for effective organization of inventory items
• E-commerce order fulfillment experience is a plus
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Previous experience operating a forklift, work assist lift, pallet jack, and hand trucks
