This position will provide leadership and supervision to the team as they perform duties regarding care of all animals in the facility. Functions of the Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to hiring and training of new employees in proper methods of care, cleaning, proper record keeping, scheduling, knowledge and use of our Gingr computer program, and supervising all aspects of the treatment and care of pets at Little Paws Of Hope business. The Assistant Manager must be able to accept responsibility, listen to staff and clients objectively, communicate effectively, be detail oriented and organized. The Assistant Manager also helps set the tone for positive image of LPH with co-workers, clients, vendors and the general public. Assistant Manager works side by side with others in a "lead-by-example" manner.

Requirements: Running a playgroup, cleaning, weekends, holidays, overnights & and all other duties assigned

Experience Requirements: Minimum of Associate college degree preferred, and 2 years proven results in supervisory management and animal care experience. Dog Training experience and certification a plus.

Pay Scale $18.00-21.50 per hour based on experience

Must have own car.
