Schedule: 6:00AM-2:30PM or until done for the day.
PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Laundry Aide is able to:
- Stand 85% to 100% of typical work shift
- Lift/carry objects more than 20lbs, and push/pull carts and occupied wheelchairs more than 50lbs
- Walk, bend, twist, stretch, lift, be on one’s feet for extended periods of time
- Remember simple and multiple tasks and assignments related to job responsibilities without frequent reminders
- Have adequate hearing to hear within the range of a raised voices, receive verbal instructions, and answer phone calls
- Communicate effectively in English with Residents and others
- Perform simple motor skills such as standing, walking, sitting, etc. Able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as, equipment calibration, etc.
