About us: 

We are an artisan bakery in sunny Menlo Park. We began making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven, and since then have expanded our product line to include a variety of naturally leavened breads, including baguettes, European-style ryes, challah, pain de mie, fougasse, other delicious baked goods (sourdough scones, giant cookies, muffins, cakes) and prepared foods (sandwiches, pizza, giant potstickers, etc.). Today, we are in more than a dozen farmers’ markets in the Peninsula and recently opened our first brick-and-mortar bakery in downtown Menlo Park. We are a group of straight-forward, passionate and dedicated people, and are looking for similar-spirited people to join our team. 

Baker

We are seeking someone who loves working with their hands and enjoys a fast-paced and physical work environment. We mix, shape, and bake a variety of naturally leavened loaves as well as cookies, scones, muffins, cakes, flatbreads and enriched doughs (challah, pain de mie). We work with deck ovens and double-rack ovens (Revent and LBC). This is physically demanding but rewarding work, harnessing the amazing process of fermentation, shaping each loaf by hand, and seeing the lovely delicious product come out. Some baking experience is preferred, but we also do not mind to provide training. English fluency required; bilingual English-Spanish strongly preferred.
