Lively Minds Tutoring is a privately-owned tutoring company in its 8th year of business. We are a team of professional educators who provide in-home tutoring services for academic subjects and coaching for executive function and study skills.

Lively Minds Tutoring is selective with the candidates we choose to move forward with. Our ideal candidate reflects our five core values, displays an impressive attitude towards learning and working with students, and holds the appropriate credentials and experience we look for in our candidates.

The Position:

To be considered for a SPED tutoring position at Lively Minds Tutoring, you must be a qualified and experienced educator to work with adult students with special needs. We would like you to have at least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience, and a passion for working with learning disabled students. This specific position requires daytime availability.

Our process of selecting and onboarding a tutor is as follows:

• You send a current resume
• You complete a survey to help us better understand your availability.
• We review your information to determine whether you would be a good fit with our company.
• We contact you to begin the interview process.

To be considered for a spot on our team, we ask that you:

• Have a sincere passion for working with children

• Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• Have relevant teaching or tutoring experience

• Commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week, Monday- Thursday

• Commit to a full school year

• Have a current fingerprint clearance card, when applicable

• Provide three professional references
