Livewire is Hiring a Commercial Sales Consultant Near Richmond, VA

Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is an integral member of the Livewire For Business Team. He/she is directlyresponsible for securing new business and managing relationships with both new & existing clients.He/she is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals and maintaining a continuousprospecting system through networking and outbound activities. He/she must possess the ability tomaintain a current knowledge of all Livewire products, services and marketing/sales skills. He/she isresponsible for both calling on existing customers to increase market share and producing a maximumamount of profitable new account sales with long term recurring revenue contracts. This position willrequire the candidate to collaborate with all aspects of the business and possess the ability to influencewithout authority.
Responsibilities:
  • Plans, organizes and implements sales/marketing programs.

  • Secures and maintains new and existing clients to expand our customer base in the commercial

    market.

  • Manages or oversees management of client/customer accounts.

  • Generates client proposals, presentations and engineering documents.

  • Works with Livewire’s Design & Engineering department to update client proposals, presentations

    and design documents.

  • Meets with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions and

    provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance for all aspects of Livewire’s product and

    service offerings.

  • Inspections as needed of all work in progress after rough-in and trim-out for quality control

    purposes.

  • Maintains working knowledge of all relevant developments in the field that are applicable to

    Livewire.

  • Uses all available resources (Referrals, Leads, Cold Calls, Networking, etc.) and maintains an

    on-going prospecting activity and system to identify and contact new prospects for expanding the

    prospect base within the assigned territory.

  • Joins and/or maintains membership in 1 trade associations.

  • Utilizes and updates the Livewire contact relationship management (CRM) tools.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by utilizing available training resources.

  • Completes and submits weekly progress reports of contacts made, work progress status, mileage

    reimbursement, etc. as required.

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

4-year business degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field. Preferred 1-3 years ofexperience in outside sales with emphasis on new account acquisition and business development.Willingness to work hard, demonstrate perseverance, determination and self-discipline.
  • B or higher credit score

  • Must reside within 50 mile radius of Richmond, VA

  • Compensation is based on salary plus commission and/or bonus

  • Salary and commission commensurate with experience

  • 401(k), paid time off, and health care plan provided

  • Requires excellent communication and facilitation skills

  • Self-motivated, task driven

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Good client management and goodwill/relationship building ability

  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability

  • Capacity to handle pressure

  • Strong focus on quality

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to obtain DCJS License

  • All other duties as assigned
