Certified Caregiver | Full-time

Living Made Easy Homes, LLC is seeking full-time, certified caregivers that's ready to jumpstart and excel in a new role.

Job Summary:

As a personal care worker, you will have the opportunity to work with many patients, each from different backgrounds, with daily tasks from budgeting and schedule management, to brushing teeth and changing linens, to planning activities and encourage social involvement. Whether you are helping a patient shop for groceries or preparing a meal, you have the chance to develop competencies such as attention to detail and interpersonal communication. Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities listed on client’s care sheet, including but not limited to: Personal care activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, bowel and bladder care
• Transfer
• Housekeeping activities, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general areas.
• Laundry activities, including but not limited to: washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry, changing linen, mending, and ironing clothes.
• Meals, including but not limited to: cooking, feeding, storing meals, and washing dishes.
• Shopping activities, including but not limited to: grocery shopping and personal shopping.
• Transportation, including but not limited to: transporting the client in client vehicle, transporting the client in PCW’s vehicle and/or assisting them with public transportation and accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments.
• Recreation, including but not limited to: in-home and/or community activities.
• Completing accurate paperwork and submit on a timely basis:
• Recording relevant information pertaining to the client’s care.
• Taking client’s vital signs and recording input and output
• Accurately preparing daily records and submitting them to the office by date due.
• Reminding clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Administering medication, if needed and keeping correct record.
• Observing and reporting changes in client's condition to this agency's Lead Personal Care Worker and RN Supervisor
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; and accompanying them with daily activities.
• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a resident of the State of WI
• Current WI Driver’s License is required
• Must be 18 years of age, at the time of application
• Reliable Transportation is required
• TB and Physical required
• Fully CBRF Certified
• Previous Personal Care Assistance in a clinical healthcare setting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly motivated team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Needs to be flexible and quickly to adopt to changing priorities and deadlines. Effective reading, writing and verbal English communication skills. Must exhibit mature responsible behavior and understand the need for patient confidentiality. Ability to manage time and work independently. Must be able to analyze, evaluate and solve problems. Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
