Living Made Easy is the leading provider of home care, adult daycare, and transportation. We strive to provide the Best Adult Family Homes (AFH) and Supportive Living Services. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Operations Manager to help deliver the results.

Job Summary: The Group Home Operation Manager here at Living Made Easy (LME) is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a group home facility. They are responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents while adhering to all regulatory requirements. The Group Home Director must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, including managing staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring adequate staffing levels for the facility.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence, well-being, and quality of life.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Collaborate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans and ensure their needs are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making necessary adjustments and modifications as required.
  • Ensure each facility is maintained in compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, such as licensing agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, attending relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to continually improve the quality of care provided.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Management Team.

Required Technical Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials:

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Associate degree or higher with a focus on Medical/Healthcare practices preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) to years’ experience with working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness or five years of CBRF experience working with an at-risk population.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Intermediate skills with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in using multi-line phones, fax machines, personal computers and office printers etc. is required.
  • Fully CBRF Certified – Wisconsin Certified Caregiver, WI Certified Nursing Assistant, and/or Medical Assistant Professional

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee may experience or must do to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:

  • This position requires participation in reoccurring ‘on-call’ duties and flexibility in daily work schedule to adequately meet company’s needs, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • This position is occasionally responsible for the supervision and safety of consumers in both normal program settings as well as a variety of settings in the community. As such, this position must be able to observe consumer activities, detect areas of danger, distinguish when consumers who are non-communicative need personal care, and converse clearly with consumers and other people in the community on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment.
  • On occasion must be able to push/pull/lift/move objects weighing at least 100 pounds.
  • This position may work in a variety of indoor and outdoor work environments which may include various outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, fluctuating temperatures, and the occasional use of stairs.
  • Frequently works in an office setting where the use of such items as a multi-line phone, fax machine, personal computer and office printer etc. is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
