Living Water Christian School: Elementary School Teacher

Our growing educational facility is looking for an Elementary Teacher who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching their assigned students, developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and carry out dynamic lessons
• Plan for differentiation of curriculum to meet student needs
• Plan learning environment with a variety of learning styles in mind
• Model the Warrior Honor Code, emphasizing this conduct model in all areas at all times
• Sustain ongoing communication between parents and school
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each student
• FACTS is to be maintained with up-to-date information.
• Support the mission and vision of the school’s learning philosophy
• Supervise an assistant/volunteer when appropriate
• Attend required faculty meetings
• Maintain and follow daily routines and schedules
• Hold parent-teacher conferences as needed
• Other duties as listed in the Staff Handbook
• Other duties may be assigned by the Administrator or Principal
