Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a Unit Clerk to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Hudson, NY.Duties Include:Basic administrative office functions; filing & data entry.Typing reports & correspondence as required, Assisting with the admissions/discharge process.Assisting with scheduling appointments for Residents when needed.Initiating & coordinating transportation approvals & schedules.Relaying vital information to Nursing Staff & Medical Team.Assist with medical records as per protocol, file medical charts as required.Inventories unit/office supplies & performs all other related duties.Answering phone calls and greeting visitorsTransporting residents in facility van on an as needed basisRequirements Include:Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalentPleasant phone manner & strong computer skillsSolid organizational and communication skillsAbility to multi-task in high-pressure environmentExperience in LTC settings a plus.Should be friendly and a team workerPositive attitude and energy is a must!Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsNYS Drivers License Clean driving recordNeeds to be dependable
