Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Sorter to join our team. As a Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting and organizing various materials and items according to specific guidelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Sort and separate materials or items based on predetermined criteria

- Inspect items for quality and remove any damaged or defective items

- Organize sorted items into designated containers or bins

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sorting area

- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or front loader trucks is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job requirements

Please note that this position requires heavy lifting, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and operating heavy equipment. Safety is our top priority, and all necessary training will be provided.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
