Candidates are expected to have experience in the logistics industry, particularly in LTL and Truckload operations. The role is multifaceted, involving customer service, freight bill auditing, and coordination among different departments. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain house accounts that are awarded through the sales cycle.
• Developing and maintaining internal processes to boost customer service, productivity, and profitability.
• Maintaining customer profiles for departmental access.
• Providing quotes and managing customer bookings in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth freight movement by providing tracking and shipment updates.
• Resolving logistics issues or shipping delays urgently and managing corrective actions for mis-shipments.
• Building customer relationships through phone or email communications.
• Handling special customer requests.
• Managing daily communications with customers and internal departments.
• Maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Strong follow-up, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of LTL and Truckload 3rd party logistics operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum two years' experience as a 3rd party logistics coordinator or equivalent
• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required.

Job Type & Compensation:

• Full-time position.
• Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Salary: $48,000 annually
• On-site work is required in Kansas City, MO 64153
