Interior Designer

We are one of the top interior design firms within our field. We work on new home construction and full residential remodels focusing on the construction documents, material and hard surface specs and the project from start to finish including furniture and styling. We are a fast paced, highly creative and an innovative small company. You will deal with design from conceptual development to installation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Owner to undertake design project from concept to completion
• Assist with a wide variety of daily tasks: conceptual design development, presentation building, sourcing of new materials and finishes, Construction Drawings, 3-d models, site visits and client interface
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
• Create specification spreadsheets for budget and purchasing and build full project binder for our builders
• Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices

Requirements

• Proven working experience in designing interior spaces; 2-5 years
• Experience with furniture selection, accessories, fabric, paint, lighting, and working knowledge of architectural plans
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Canva and google docs
• Familiarity with vendors and local design centers
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Degree in Interior Design or similar
• Some driving is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
