Pay Range
$206,490 - $318,216 Annually
$206,490 - $265,188 Annually for the SEL.4 level
$247,800 - $318,216 Annually for the SEL.5 level
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.
Job DescriptionThe Design Physics Division (DPD) has an opening for the High Energy Density Project Leader within the Weapon Simulation and Computing Computational Physics (WSC/CP) program. As a member of the WSC/CP Project Coordination Council (PCC), this individual will be part of the leadership team for the SD code enterprise. This position is in the Strategic Deterrence (SD) Directorate.
This is a nominally quarter-time position: you will maintain other assignments for the balance of your time.
This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.
