LMC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Specialist

LMC is working exclusively with a leading technology supplier, best known for their premium Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, and Smart Building Tech with expertise across energy management.

This role will be heavily customer service focused and will be responsible for answering incoming calls, creating quotes and orders, and assisting customers at the counter. The ideal candidate should have a background in HVAC or building automation/controls and have a strong customer service background.

Due to growth, and significant market demand, they're expanding their inside sales team in Redford, Michigan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle inside and counter sales, including calls and customer assistance.
  • Create and process orders and quotes using Prophet 21, with timely follow-up.
  • Manage customer Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Provide technical expertise on product offerings and maintain customer relationships.
  • Support outside sales and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Develop product knowledge and sales skills through training.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, customer will call, and inventory management.

Necessary Experience

  • Experience in HVAC, Temperature Control, or Building Automation Systems.
  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to retain new concepts.
  • Strong time and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and collaborative.
  • Self-starter with initiative.
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience

  • HVAC experience.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation.
  • Mechanical and electrical background.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.
