LMS Recruiters is a search firm located in the greater Kansas City area. We are currently recruiting for the Construction Industry in Kansas City / Lee's Summit, MIssouri area.

Our client is in the Commercial Construction industry in the greater Kansas City area. They have been in business for over 90 years and are currently looking for a Preconstruction Engineer. Qualifications

· 3 years of experience working in Construction performing similar tasks, a degree in a Construction Related Field is a plus.

· Able to work both independently and in a team environment.

· Able to read and understand blueprints, and specifications.

· Able to perform quantity takeoffs.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and other Construction related software programs.

· Detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with reviewing and evaluating sub-contractor quotations.

· Preserve relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients.

· Maintain bid documents and track changes.

· Prepare pre-bid RFI’s.

· Create and maintain risk logs.

· Assist with maintaining unit cost database.

· Distribute bid documents to sub-contractors and suppliers and monitor bid list.

· Assist with developing cost estimates.

· Assist with communicating and handing over projects to Construction Operations.

· Attend Prebid Meetings.

· Assist with developing scopes of work.

· Assist with maintaining Subcontractor database.

· Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
