Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Porter/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.

Duties:

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and minor electrical repairs, and minor porter duties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Assist in maintaining inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for equipment repairs
- Strong customer service skills to interact with residents and staff
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Understanding of electrical systems for repairs and maintenance
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform welding tasks is desirable
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
