Job Title: Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR Lead)

Location: New York, NY (On-Site)

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 base comprehensive benefits package

The Role:

As the DFIR Director, you will be the cornerstone of our cybersecurity operations, overseeing a dedicated team of specialists and managing the end-to-end incident response lifecycle. Your expertise will be pivotal in safeguarding our infrastructure and responding to cybersecurity incidents with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the DFIR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the investigation of security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and other cyber threats.
• Develop and implement incident response strategies and protocols to minimize impact and ensure rapid recovery.
• Conduct digital forensics analysis to identify root causes and support legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture and incident response capabilities.
• Stay current with emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in digital forensics and incident response.
• Prepare and present detailed incident reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing and leading high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex incidents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCFA, GCIH) are a significant plus.
