Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Seeking a motivated and skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic Information Security team. If you have a passion for defending against cyber threats and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information, we want to hear from you. This role is crucial for safeguarding our company's data and infrastructure, and we are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of cyber security experience, particularly with Microsoft 365 (M365) and other security tools.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and enhance security measures for our M365 environment to safeguard emails, documents, and sensitive data within collaboration tools.
• Administer and fine-tune Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions to protect privileged accounts throughout our IT landscape.
• Leverage tools for comprehensive log management and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities.
• Configure and manage Zero Trust tools to secure web traffic, protect against internet threats, and enable secure access to cloud applications.
• Perform regular security assessments and audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities within our systems and applications.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation related to security policies, procedures, and technical standards.
• Stay informed about new security threats, technologies, and trends to continually strengthen our security posture.
• Educate staff on cyber security awareness and best practices through training and guidance.
• Serve on the incident response team, offering swift action to security breaches and contributing to post-incident analysis and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a cyber security role, with demonstrated expertise in M365, PAM, and SIEM.
• Comprehensive understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001), and regulations (e.g., CCPA).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is beneficial.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to engage effectively across different departments.
