About Us: We are a private-label manufacturer for small to mid-sized companies in the artisan men’s hair and grooming space. We manufacture for our own 4 brands of products and also for some of the top private-label brands in the world. We have manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Houston, Colorado, and a warehouse and employees in Munich, Germany for distribution throughout Europe.

In 2024, we expect to manufacture more than 500,000 private label products, company wide, for our fast-growing list of outstanding brand partners. Our Michigan division produces the largest handcrafted brand of men’s pomades in the U.S.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Director to oversee our team of production associates and manage all aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management on a global scale, and a proven track record in operations management. You will be responsible for ensuring highly efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of our products and services. Our CEO has run very large national companies (of thousands of employees) and demands excellence in our leadership team and employees, and expects you too as well. Meeting that expectation will result in considerable worldwide growth ahead for our family of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Oversee the daily operations of the company, including production, inventory management, and logistics.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products, for distribution, wholesale and retail sales.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Report directly to our Chief Operations Officer on a daily basis and have regular contact with our CEO

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in production.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge/ability to quickly master international shipping requirements.
• You aren’t a people pleaser, you get the job done, take accountability for your job performance, and have the ability to meet the high standards and expectations of our COO and CEO.

Location: Durand, Michigan

Pay: $60-70,000/Annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, flexibility needed
