Responsibilities include:
Performing a variety of secretarial, administrative, office management, protocol, and communication duties in support of the Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Center's Space Security and Communications Directorate leader and leadership staff. Interface directly and frequently with Administrative Assistants of other executives at Space Systems and across the corporation, and with other members of the ATC leadership team and their administrative assistants. Because duties involve communication with high-level internal and external contacts and exposure to sensitive information, considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment is required.
In this role you will communicate with executive, administrative and line management personnel to gather or convey relevant information. You will perform all normal secretarial, administrative and clerical duties of a senior administrative assistant including scheduling meetings, maintaining schedules in Microsoft Outlook, setting up teleconferences, organizing domestic and international travel and completing expense reporting. You will be responsible for scheduling conference rooms and facilities used by multiple groups. Protocol duties include supporting visiting executives, organizing catering services, and supporting employee engagement events. Communication duties include ensuring all correspondence is accurate, complete, and properly handled; you will prepare messages using multiple forms of media. You must be detail oriented and manage time well to handle multiple requests and tasks. This requires determining priorities of non-routine situations. The role may require overtime and flexible work hours.
YOU WILL NEED to be able and willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance: US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with administrative support to senior/executive management; including managing travel, calendar, expense reports, meeting, visits, supplies, on-boarding
• Experience as an office manager or site administrator
• Experienced in creating documents, correspondence, presentation
• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
'Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $56,500 - $102,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
