As a Manager, it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end. HIMARS is a fast-paced program with ample opportunities for growth and new experiences. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, communicating customer concerns, expediting delivery schedules, and tracking material needs. You will regularly report supply chain metrics, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior-level internal customers. The Project Management Manager will support the HIMARS Program within the Supply Chain Management organization. This position will be responsible to drive mitigation activities across the HIMARS Program Supply Chain, as well as organize all projects between Program Management, Procurement and Production Operations for the HIMARS program. Job responsibilities include: -The development and maintenance of metrics, the pursuit of deliveries from suppliers, and assistance in the negotiation of subcontracts. -Manage all material requirements, attend shortage meetings and assist program management with any supplier related issues. -Interface with the site's Senior Leadership Team, and the managers in all other departments including Engineering, Quality, Production Operations and PP&C for action resolution and resource planning. -Develop and execute risk mitigation plans for Global Supply Chain. -Travel will be required Basic Qualifications: - Full Spectrum Leadership. - The ability to lead, delegate, motivate and coach individual contributors in a team environment. - Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities while executing to meet mission success. - Knowledge and experience of the Proposal Process, Risk Mitigation & Project Management as it relates to Supply Chain. - Strong ability to resolve tactical obstacles and make strategic decisions while delivering results. - Ability to travel. - Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance. Desired Skills: - Experience training and coaching new team members. - Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and FAR. - SAP & P2P Experience. - Strong social acumen - team player able to effectively communicate with cross-functional organizations and build working relationships. - Strong ability to multi-task while delivering results. - Experience with creating & executing in a team environment. - Experience implementing change to improve processes.
