Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with company policies and Federal/State/Local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Associate data in the payroll system
- Work closely with Series HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and related processes.
- Respond to Associate inquiries regarding payroll matters and address any concerns or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Research and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll tax regulations and perform regular audits to validate accuracy and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll functions and practices, including tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in using PeopleSoft preferred, but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues independently.
- Self-starter and independent worker strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service approach.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
