Our client is a leading multinational bulk liquid packaging manufacturer with state-of-the-art manufacturing sites across Australia. To further build on their success this newly created role is now available
Your new role, reporting to the Head of Sales, is a key growth initiative. Already very successful in some industry sectors our client is looking to grow into new market segments as well as introduce new products. You will lead from the front, actively seeking out new opportunities in both existing and new markets. You will have the ability to spot opportunities for customers that will improve productivity and/or enhance quality, or save them money.
You are a successful business development manager with a history of finding and cementing in long term supply contracts with manufacturers. Experience with industrial bulk packaging would be advantageous. This is a hands-on role. You understand solution selling and are not afraid to pick up the phone, call prospects and feel out opportunities. Your people and communication skills are exceptional. You use these to develop relationships and recognise when to close orders.
