We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician Instructor to join our team teaching military personnel to care for military working dogs primarily using the Diesel Advanced Canine Medical Trainer, "Diesel Dog". The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care for animals and support our veterinary staff in various tasks involved in creating and delivering veterinary care to military working dogs.

Preferred Experience:

- 5 years of experience in the military as a 68T

- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to veterinary medicine

- 5 years of academic and/or job experience as a veterinary technician

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- At least 2 years experience in teh veterinary field as a registered veterinary technician (RVT) or licensed veterinary technician (LVT)

- RVT/LVT requirement can be waived with 5 years of active-duty military experience as a 68T

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
