Responsibilities:

- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the store
- Interview, hire, and train new employees
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, implement strategies to increase sales
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Handle cash register operations and perform cash management duties
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement marketing strategies

Skills:

- Strong interviewing skills to effectively assess candidates for employment
- Experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of retail management principles and practices
- Ability to set prices for products based on market trends and competition analysis
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, as it allows for effective communication with diverse customers and staff members
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing a team of employees
- Proficient in cash register operations and cash handling procedures
- Strong administrative skills to handle paperwork, scheduling, and other administrative tasks
