The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role involves managing financial reporting, performing detailed account analyses, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in supporting the company’s financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Review and post journal entries as part of the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Provide financial analysis and support for budget variances.
• Participate in the forecasting process and provide recommendations for cost control.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company’s practices align with current standards.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support company initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding financial performance and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
