Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to join our team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, a robust understanding of AR processes, and excellent data management skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely cash applications, reporting, and managing the AR team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable team, consisting of 3-5 direct reports.
• Handle day-to-day AR operations, including cash applications, reporting, and data review.
• Ensure the accurate application of checks or ACH payments.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Correct cash application errors and ensure adherence to AR processes.
• Manage workflow and team performance to hit deliverables in a fast-paced setting.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain and enhance AR systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Ideal Experience / Must-Haves:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in an AR supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing a team of 3-5 direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Associates degree may be considered, but a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience in AR, particularly in cash applications.
• Proficiency with AR systems such as Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Bill Trust is a plus.
• Exceptional skills in data analysis and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of the general accounting principles behind AR processes.
