The OpportunityLonestar Forklift is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the Shop Technician for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose and complete machinery repairs in a timely manner, while providing a variety of repair options that best meet customer needs
- Communicate with the Shop Coordinator, ensuring they are up to date on the status of each repair
- Complete all necessary paperwork for each task
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including parts shelves, workbenches and shop bays
- Previous experience in a related industry
- Previous mechanical experience focused on material handling equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
