Roles & Responsibilities Top Daily Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing logistics operations to ensure timely delivery. This role will also support continuous improvement initiatives to standardize processes and improve efficiency, management of transportation schedules, carrier partner relationships and cost-reduction initiatives.

Core responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate outbound transportation load scheduling

- Support transportation schedules and ensure timely pickup and delivery

- Coordinate with transportation carriers to ensure adequate capacity and ability to meet transportation schedule

- Cost management activities - optimize vehicle loads to maximize capacity, routing compliance

- Monitor transit and support in-transit tracking, address any delays or exceptions through resolution

- Support Accounts Payable activities through transportation invoice review

- Support data collection for cost reporting

- Monitor and analyze transportation costs and cost savings opportunities

- Support transit damage prevention - support proper handling & load/ unload procedures and continuous improvement activities to maintain damage rate targets.

- Support reverse logistics processes and compliance.

Generic Managerial Skills Good written and verbal communication skills
