Corporate Director of Payroll
Leadership:
Exhibit outstanding leadership skills, leading by example
Motivate, train, evaluate, record and report team members performance and progress
Assist Management in establishing weekly/monthly goals, ensure team members are utilizing all resources and meeting and/or surpassing weekly/monthly targets
Conduct audits of all team members to ensure accuracy
Resolve payment discrepancies with employees
Daily organization and delegation of workflow and tasks for all team members working on assigned accounts to ensure proficiency
Maintain positive internal and external relationships encouraging open lines of communication to resolve all administrative and financial issues
Provide feedback to management regarding any issues or repetitive errors that may be encountered during claim review and submissions
Cross-trained in all areas of financial department to aid when needed
Maintain attendance records to ensure adequate staffing and workflow
Required to attend company designated seminars, annually (minimum)
Provide financial reports as needed
Other duties assigned by Management
Duties & Responsibilities:
Company-wide payroll processing
Collect and review employee time records for compliance with state and regulatory requirements.
Assist in updating employee payroll records by entering changes in benefit coverage, direct deposits, department/division transfers, garnishments, etc.
Import new hire data into the payroll system.
Assist in providing basic payroll information for vacation or sick requests, general payroll information and payroll login help.
Scan payroll backup information.
Assist in collecting data for general audits and special projects.
Process specific payroll labor reports.
May Prepare employee verification inquiries for agencies, disability, and unemployment claims.
Respond to employee requests pertaining to payroll matters.
Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Communicate with Company’s Operations team and Human Resource Department to ensure the integrity of the payroll data related to new hires, terminations, transfers, and benefit rates.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have 5 years of previous experience in preparation, processing, and maintenance of Healthcare Payroll.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management preferred.
Must possess excellent knowledge of payroll taxes and other Federal, state, and local payroll laws.
Superior knowledge of computer programs including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, Practice Management Systems and Clearinghouses
