Job DescriptionCustomer Support ManagerBe part of our management team and bring your natural skills as a problem solver to our industrial mechanical environment, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.What You Will Be Responsible For In This Position:The incumbent in this position will be responsible for serving as primary customer contact on incoming customer requirements. The Manager will coordinate all activities needed to provide the customer with the most expeditious schedule and maintain a continuous line of communication with plant operations, engineering, shop manager and the customer. While serving as primary lead for scheduling of the Field Services area, the successful person will also be responsible for assigning work, calculations of repair quotes on incoming repair jobs; understand and note repair versus replacement costs; and communicating service options to appropriate representative of customer.
We Seek A Candidate With the Following Background: The requirements for the successful candidate will be prior experience in leading/management/problem solving in a repair shop with some background in general mechanics, machine shop work, warehousing, with some computer literacy. A background in displaying an ability to create solutions pathways to solve problems and everyday business issues is preferred. Phone sales experience is desirable, though not essential. A well-rounded candidate will also have a (minimum) level of education/experience: associate degree.
