Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Progressive Care Nurse. The PCU Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit, including telemetry and critical care medicine. The role involves monitoring and assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
This position is Nights. With the choose of 3*12s or 4*12s with guaranteed OT.
Qualifications
- Progressive Care, Step down or Med Surg Tele Nursing
- Experience in telemetry and monitoring patients' conditions
- Knowledge of medicine and healthcare protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Current SD or compact RN license
- ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certification
