Function

The Production Control-Inventory Lead is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the PCI department, including team management and handling the inventory flow from receipt to shipping shelves. Additionally, they may assist the department manager with implementing updated processes and procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate the team’s ongoing performance, delivering evaluations, one-on-one meetings, coaching, and following the disciplinary process as necessary according to company policy
• Pre-determine priority shipments before arrival, set priorities on shipments upon arrival, and oversee their processing
• Keep the warehouse organized with an emphasis on creating space
• Assist in launching new products
• Consistently complete audits on schedule
• Assist with the training of team members in the absence of a department trainer
• Other related duties as assigned by upper management

Qualifications

• Proficient in Google Suite or similar
• Proficient people management skills with a drive for continued improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superb attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to work remotely on Thursday evenings 2-3 times per month (10pm - 11pm) to assist with product launches
• Full-time availability (40 hours) 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent and 
• 2 years prior experience in a lead or supervisor role 
• 2 years experience in an inventory role

Compensation

• Up to 5% biannual performance-based bonus (based on a 40-hour work week)
