About Us:

Lorenz is partnering with large utilities companies to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in our products and services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Coordinator with expertise in NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) standards and proficiency in using camera equipment for inspection and documentation purposes. Join our team and contribute to the success and safety of our valued clients.

Job Summary: The Quality Coordinator will oversee and ensure the quality of our products and services, working closely with large utilities companies. This role requires 2 to 4 years of experience in quality assurance, with specific expertise in NESC standards and camera equipment usage. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in compliance with NESC standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize camera equipment to document inspections, identify defects, and verify compliance.
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the utilities industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NESC standards and their application in quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in using camera equipment for inspection and documentation purposes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
