Facilities Maintenance Technician
Facility Maintenance Technician with good leadership and coordination skills is needed to provide facility maintenance operations support in a Data Center environment for a Fortune 500 company. This is a contract position with strong potential of converting to permanent full-time with the client. Training will be provided. entry level candidates with Technical Certification (HVAC) or Engineering Degrees (Mechanical/Electrical) are encouraged to apply. Prior military/veteran experience is a plus.
Candidates should have some hands-on troubleshooting experience with some type of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
Responsibilities for the Facility Maintenance Technician
* Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: HVAC, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
Requirements for the Facility Maintenance Technician:
* Degree (Mechanical/ Electrical) or Technical Certification (Military/ Trade School) or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with Commercial Electrical and/or Mechanical skills is nice to have but should at least have some hands-on electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting experience in a work environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Strong leadership and organizational skills.- Strong attention to detail.- Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
* Data Center Experience is a plus
