Lorom Cable and System Design is Hiring a Customer Account Manager Near Cary, NC

The role of Customer Service Specialist is a key role in our North American Operations. Lorom is seeking a self-starter that will be responsible for servicing our key customers and business growth in focus market segments.

In addition to our competitive base salary, benefits, and bonus plan, we are also looking for an individual to grow and be successful, based on their hard work in multiple job functions, to expand within our company through long term career opportunities.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Provide customer service to an existing account base as assigned by the Regional Manager
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who will influence decisions in revenue growth, communicate key strategic issues and topics with Regional Manager
  • Preparing, facilitating, organizing, and completing quotations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value added services
  • Manage and maintain forecasting, order management, invoicing, logistics, customs, customer finance requirements, and VMI programs within assigned accounts
  • Monitor and maintain, through consistent customer dialogue, that all price, delivery, and quality requirements are met in a timely and satisfactory manner

Qualifications:

Required Education: 4 year college degree

2 years in Customer Service experience in a related high-tech company

Desirable :

  • Previous experience in customer service in related field
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Skills & Abilities:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide customer service support to satisfy their requirements
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven record with complimentary scores in customer service support
  • Ability to self-motivate to successfully manage and prioritize own workload with minimal direct supervision and process work accurately
  • Independently resolves issues as they arise and coordinate efforts with direct Manager
  • Project a professional and credible image with an ability to communicate effectively through e-mail and phone
  • Superior problem solving and organizational skills
  • Key liaison between customer and Strategic Account Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
