Job Opening for UI React Architect at Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Title: UI React Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

• Seeking a React Architect skilled at creating scalable, reusable code that drives innovation and improves user experiences to join our dynamic team.

Required Skills:

• Ability to understand and handle large scale systems, code bases and teams

• Proven experience of around 9-10 years working with React and other modern web technologies.

• Experience with Micro Front End (preferably more than 1 year)

• Strong understanding of the React eco-system, including Redux, MobX, and other state management libraries

• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs

• Strong understanding of web performance and usability best practices

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Next JS

• Experience with server-side rendering in React

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme

Role:

• Owning the technical architectural aspect of the entire project code.

• Designing the architecture and high-level plans, roadmaps.

• Code review and mentoring.

• Performance optimization.

• Technical leadership.

• Making decisions about the technology stack, tools, and frameworks.

• Solving complex problems.

• Collaboration with other teams and ensuring systems are integrated seamlessly.

• Communication with all stakeholders and teams.

• Continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
