Job Title: Multimedia Coordinator Reports To: Director of Creative Media & Engagement Department: Advancement & Engagement FLSA Status: Exempt Salary: $65,000 - $69,900 SUMMARY The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) is seeking a creative and strategic leader to join our team as a Multimedia Coordinator. This pivotal role will be at the forefront of amplifying the LAEDC's mission and vision across Los Angeles County and extending its influence to national and global spheres. As an integral component of our organization, the Multimedia Coordinator will help assist in promoting programs, services, and initiatives while fostering greater engagement among stakeholders and diversifying our funding streams. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking individual with at least 3 years of relevant experience, capable of innovative leadership, complex problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the Multimedia Coordinator will collaborate with other LAEDC programs leveraging the LAEDC 5 pillar economic development strategy which includes Research, Industry Cluster Development, Business Assistance, Foreign Direct Investment, and Workforce Development. DUTIES Assist in the overall engagement experience to build, maintain and improve relationships through multimedia. Create impactful content that helps drive LAEDC's growth objectives. Strengthen local engagement by aligning marketing actions with LAEDC's principles, turning community outreach and partnerships into compelling visual narratives. Capture LAEDC's mission and vision using the fundamentals of film and photography. Rigorously assess and optimize social media campaigns using data insights, providing consistent updates on performance metrics. Seamlessly integrate cutting-edge tools, including AI, to elevate the efficiency and success rates of our media operations. Use royalty-free audio/video as a means to connect deeply with our members and their audience, fostering ground-breaking and significant media projects. Execute storytelling strategies, in print and video, that achieve tangible results within the non-profit sector. Work collaboratively across all LAEDC programs leveraging and implementing the LAEDC 5 pillar strategy to economic development. Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by LAEDC leadership. EDUCATION Associates degree from a community college or bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or at least 3 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
