Los Gatos Dog & Cat Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary techician to join our very busy AAHA-accredited, 7 doctor practice.
Our hospital has been serving the community since 1947, and we place great value in the bond we have with all those we interact with at work and in the community. Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest medical care available, and we strive to deliver the best possible service to our clients.
We are looking for a personable yet highly professional person to join our team. Some of the duties include: client education, animal restraint, assisting veterinarian in the exam room, filling prescriptions, running in-house lab tests and basic patient care. Basic knowledge of diseases and surgical procedures, CPR and the ability to calculate drug dosages are required. The person we are looking for must be friendly, reliable, positive, conscientious and professional. Evenings and Saturdays may be required.
We offer competitive compensation along with a benefits package(for employees working 20 or more hours per week) including: medical insurance, paid vacation, 401(k), profit sharing, continuing education, life insurance and a very generous personal pet care discount.
