**$2,000 Bonus Package**

Los Lunas Animal Clinic, a mixed animal hospital in greater Albuquerque, has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players who are committed to excellent client service and exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate:

  • Comfortable around a variety of animals (cats, dogs, exotics, large animals)
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • Great attention to detail, outgoing, and friendly
  • Enjoys connecting with clients as well as the team
  • Friendly personality and excellent customer service skills
  • Remains calm in emotional, stressful, and fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to cross-train/jump in where needed
  • Committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training
  • Experience in a veterinary office or other animal-related career is a plus, but not required

Job duties/responsibilities option:

  • Anesthetic induction
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Surgical preparation and assistance
  • Dental prophy
  • Digital radiology
  • Patient handling and restraint
  • Blood draws
  • IV catheter placement
  • Suture wounds and incisions
  • Pharmacy duties
  • Lab work
  • Drug calculations
  • Outpatient procedures
  • Microscopic evaluation
  • Administer vaccines, injections, and medications
  • Client communication and education

Turnover at Los Lunas Clinic is generally low, and we have a great team of RVTs who are valued for their skill and education. Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
