A busy, growing, Fort Lauderdale Law Firm has an opening for a Legal Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Scheduling/Calendaring
- E-filing
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant handling litigation files. Plaintiff or defense personal injury experience preferred.
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
