JOB SUMMARY

As we launch our North American Expansion Plan, we are looking for logistics professionals that are successful in their current role yet looking to expand their responsibilities, further develop personally as a company leader and drive personal and company financial gains. Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential US/MX/CA FTL and LTL prospects.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.
  • Engage with prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and conferences, to create meaningful connections and promote our services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Provide Regular reports and updated on business development activities, sales pipeline and revenue forecast to the management team

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the FTL and LTL Transportation and 3PL Logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of FTL and LTL Transportation and 3PL Logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of the industry's competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

· Ensure a best in class customer and carrier experience and provide recommendations on improvements to delight our customers and carriers

· Review and analyze market trends and make necessary adjustments to customer/carrier rates as needed. Provide market insights to the logistics/brokerage team

  • Possess a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales and volume goals
  • Proven experience developing new business from the ground up and comfortable in a start-up environment
  • Ability to analyze input from multiple functions, develop effective problem solutions to complex business issues, and present recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability in performing in a fast-paced, changing and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to drive results.

· Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and state regulatory rules and requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience with 2 years’ experience in transportation / logistics preferred

· Software proficiency with MS Office suite, Salesforce, and industry leading load boards and TMS systems.
