Lotus Village is Hiring a Recovery Support Services Director Near Miami, FL

Local non-profit agency with clinical program for high special needs women is seeking a seasoned, clinician with demonstrated experience in assessments and clinical counseling to work with women with severe trauma histories and serious mental health issues in recovery support services.

The Recovery Support Services Director is responsible for direct and supervisory services of guest care pertaining to their recovery from substance use. Accordingly, this person assesses and identifies clinical issues and creates clear objectives and goals in order to support a guest’s recovery.

  • The Recovery Support Services Director tracks and documents participant progress while working to meet all required internal and external contract standards and policies. This person will assist in the proper, accurate, complete and timely reporting, and record keeping for the Foundation and its subsidiaries, pertaining to recovery support services, all in accord with the Foundation's standards of care, policies and procedures, applicable laws, and grant and contract requirements;
  • Facilitation of drug testing services for guests within the shelter.
  • Provide evidenced based Individual Counseling geared to recovery support services.
  • Facilitation of group counseling including but not limited to NA/AA groups.
  • Provide linkages to guests with resources within the community to ensure a positive continuum of care and support throughout their recovery process.

This is an opportunity for rewarding clinical work with a diverse community using an evidence-based, trauma-informed and holistic approach. Experience serving those with serious trauma histories, medical issues, mental health conditions, as well as working with individuals identifying as LGBTQ and those who have histories of domestic violence is a must. Candidates must be licensed mental health professionals in the state of FL and have their CAP and training/certification in evidence based clinical modalities. Ideal candidates possess a positive attitude, creativity, and commitment to helping improve the lives of women and children in the community.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
