As a Commissioning Manager working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Datacenter sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in El Mirage, Arizona.
In this role you will be responsible for the overseeing the commissioning activities for a major data center project.
Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire commissioning process for the data center project, from planning and design through to final delivery.
• Client facing management of stakeholders
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commissioning plan, procedures, and schedule to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure all systems are properly installed and functioning.
• Conduct regular site inspections and testing to verify the performance and reliability of data center systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Manage and document commissioning activities, including testing results, issue resolution, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Ensure all commissioning processes adhere to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies in data center systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data center commissioning.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center commissioning, project management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of data center systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data center operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications related to data center operations and commissioning (e.g., LEED, PMP, CxA)
