We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Commissioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating trade partners for field energizations, collaborating with the owner's commissioning team for low voltage energizations, and executing these tasks efficiently. This role involves commissioning various electrical systems and equipment, including substations, switchgear, VFDs, low voltage systems, and branch panels.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the availability of trade partners to execute field energizations.
• Collaborate with the owner's commissioning team to prepare for low voltage energizations.
• Execute low voltage energizations with precision and safety.
• Commission electrical switchgear, including substations, switchgear, VFDs, low voltage systems, and branch panels.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
• Document and report all commissioning activities and results.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in electrical commissioning, particularly with low voltage systems and switchgear.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with multiple trade partners and teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electrical commissioning.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Electrical engineering degree or Journeyman's license preferred.
